C-CAMS
The Centre for Communication Allied Media Studies (C-CAMS), affiliated with State Resources centre and National Skill Development Centre, aims to become a national Centre in the exploration and dissemination of knowledge about human communication, mass media, and digital production. C-CAMS will strive to fulfil the following objectives:
- Enhance the Centre's capacity to generate, convey, and apply knowledge that fosters personal growth and deepens understanding of human communication while advancing media practice and literacy.
- Promote social and community development through the practice of ethical news and sports reporting, advertising, corporate communication, and public relations.
- Drive economic competitiveness by offering industry-relevant majors in advertising, communication science and social inquiry, digital media production, multimedia journalism, and analytics, professional communication, and public relations.
- Enhance the quality of life for all Aspirants by cultivating a more informed and engaged electorate through the education of highly skilled professionals in broadcast, print, online, and social mass media.
Through these endeavours, C-CAMS will establish itself as a hub for comprehensive research, education, and engagement in the field of communication and allied media studies, contributing to the betterment of society and empowering individuals to thrive in a rapidly evolving media landscape.
